Even though this movie came out a few years ago, I am still obsessed. I can probably watch Adventureland a million times without getting bored, just because its so gosh darn entertaining. Yeah, its a Kristen Stewart movie, but her character Em is actually not that bad. And her acting is (surprisingly) decent.
Also, Adventureland was filmed entirely at Kennywood amusement park in Pittsburgh, which I have been to twice now and every time I go I see more and more bits and pieces from the movie. Granted, the park looks a lot newer and de-80’s-ified but you can still see some Adventureland peeking through.
It has everything I look for in a movie: Cute awkward leading man (Jesse Eisenberg), vintage 80s style, and it has a baller soundtrack.

Ever since I started watching Community four years ago, I have had a major crush on Donald Glover, the actor who plays Troy. Soon after, I discovered his rap counterpart, the fantastic Childish Gambino. He is cute and sensitive and funny in the sexiest way possible.
Check out my favorite song of his, These Girls (featuring Garfunkel and Oates)
I am currently on the hunt for a kimono-y top kind of like this one. I saw them all over the place at Paradiso a few weeks ago. They just ooze that summer carefree feeling and (I’m just guessing) they help keep the sun off your shoulders when you’re rocking out at a summer music festival in the desert.
Does anyone know of any good thrift shops in the Seattle area?

I just found this gorgeous font on Myfonts.com. It is gritty and sophisticated and it reminds me of something you’d find on a liquor bottle label in the 1930’s.
It comes with 8 typefaces and it has some cute extra features built in.
Available at Myfonts.com for $45.
Right now I am obsessed with eating cherries. They are just the perfect summer snack food. Tart and sweet and oh so pretty, I consume them by the bag-full.
I really want to try this cherry pie recipe. It looks really easy and delicious.
